If only Eastwood & Bronson had done a final Death Wish/Dirty Harry

Imagine: the year is 1995. Harry Calahan is living in a retirement community in San Francisco. One day a new guy moves in: Paul Kersey. He and Eastwood become friends. They have a kind of "Grumpy Old Men" rivalry over an attractive lady in the community, maybe Raquel Welch or someone similar. Then one day she is murdered and a crime wave begins to affect the community. Harry and Paul Kersey team up to find the killer, but Kersey wants to take the revenge too far. Does Harry go with it, or must he face down his new friend?

That sounds awesome. Although better yet a crossover movie would've been made in the late 70's after the first Death Wish, before Bronson and Eastwood became geriatrics.

When Harry Met Paul.

Rob Reiner could've directed.

They dislike each other at first, then become friends, then Kersey's latest amour gets killed (of course), and Harry comes over to console Paul.
