The scene where Harry goes up in the "cherry picker" to talk a suicidal guy from jumping from a building is one of the great scenes of these movies! It is so "Harry" and yet, he saves the guys life. But he does it in a strange way!
shareyeah.. you know what I realized lately after re-watching a couple of classics .. lethal weapon really took a lot from dirty harry .. scenes ,, character etc ..

I agree. I love LW but it lifted heavy from DH with the suicide assist, dead wife BOTH from drunken drive (though that was changed in the 2nd LW when we find out Mrs Riggs death was the result of a failed attempt on Riggs himself) both cops extremely reckless, almost suicidal ( mostly Riggs), both do as they please with very little to no repercussions for their actions from higher up in police. I love both franchises but please give credit where credit is due. I believe the LW script was written by the guy who did iron man 3 which was decent so I forgive a little.
