Was this film in a way supposed to be a criticism of society?

Whether in the future Britain or otherwise?

And was it also meant to be a criticism of the government and a legal system as much as members of society in general in particular ordinarily straight white men with their, however flawed and immoral, stances in general and an unfortunate treatment also of women as objects and their victimization?

And is it also a coincidence or essence that in this film there are no heroes or villains or purely good people and purely bad ones but that everyone is flawed in some way in a satirical version of human reality in general in all its anti glory but perhaps shown in cinematic glory but without glorifying villains or bad things too much in general?
