Deserves a Remake that Does the Novel Justice,

I really hope this gets remade and it is a certain topic that I believe must be introduced to today's public today. A lot of the important parts from the novel were left out of the film and the choice of colors/costumes were not what I expected.

This movie will never be remade and rightly so. Ugh makes me cringe to even think of anyone even trying. Would you go remake a classic work of art? I don't think so. Same principle applies here. It makes no sense to bring up the few details from the book which don't appear in the movie. That's how it usually works. This movie is one of the best movies ever made.

I do not think this movie is anywhere near perfect: it is a brilliant, original experiment on a moderate budget---but it is NOT perfect.

It's biggest deficiency is the almost complete lack of 'being set in the future' after Alex is captured by the cops.

If the entire ambience of the movie matched the opening dream-like 40 minutes, this movie MAY WELL have been 'perfect', but it's NOT, it's lacking for much of the last two-thirds which work better as a visual record of Britain in the very early 70s, [rather than a futuristic satire] but Christ you can already get that watching a Carry On film from the same era.

A good film? ---yes, definitely.

But 'perfect'? Most definitely not.
