Missing scene in home invasion at writer's house?

As I recall from seeing this film when it first came out, the four droogs wanted the writer to open his safe, and his wife begged him to do it, but he valued the safe's contents more than he valued his wife. This scene is missing from the Amazon Prime version. Can anyone confirm my recollection is correct?

Saw it opening day and several more times. No such scene. Maybe from the book?j

OK, thanks. I didn't read the book so I have probably confused it with another film involving a home invasion.

It doesn't happen in the book either.

"Damn it, Beavis - she was probably gonna pay us 'til you started talking about poop!"

BUt in the book, Alex's gang does not immediately attack the couple, there is an exchange between them.

I think the scene to which you are referring is possibly from the film "In Cold Blood".
