almost as great to hear as see

Yesterday (yes during "Rapture Day") I was typing a huge paper for my final day of semester work, and I needed some good music to get me through the process. Since I couldn't find the soundtrack CDs to Woodstock I just threw on the movie as background noise. It was really wonderful, cause not just the music but the rest of the movie, the interviews, the audience-crowd noise, it made for a lot of interesting things to hear (or that loudspeaker guy announcing the brown acid). I did have to turn around a few times though, as it's hard not to watch the Who rip it up for Summertime Blues or, of course, Santana which is the highlight of the entire concert.

Anyone else love just listening to this stuff? The only parts I skip are Joan Baez (like her other work, but here it's just meh) and John Sebastian (I like hippies but Jesus!)
