According to this documentary, they had like 2 million debt that they couldn't pay back.. but what the hey, at least 'it was happening', and that was more important than being responsible with other people's money.
I mean, basically, this guy just arranged a big party using other people's money - hippies were not known for being very responsible.
Out of curiosity, where did you get those figures? Who made 50 million, and what cost 600 Kelvins?
