Question about the famous line

For anyone who's seen the "real" version of this film, i'm guessing there's a scene that MST3K cut for time that gives context to the "this is where the fish lives" line. Does anyone know if there's any background to that quote in the full length movie?

reply

I own the full-length movie, but there's scarce little that is cut from it for the MST version. There is no lead up to the "fish" line that would explain its goofiness. Also, there is no explanation of who Luther and Molly actually are (are they Lucinda's descendants? Melissa's? Some distant cousins who are obligated to maintain this walnut ranch in perpetuity?).

You do get a nipple shot at the end, though.

Hers or his?

(Seriously, thanks for saving me the search for a copy. That Luther and Molly thing really bugged me. And now I know it's just stupid screenwriter(s))

Ha ha ha ha ... hers, of course. It took me a moment, but during the scene after the "sweet lovemaking" in the grass, when Melissa sands Jody's shoulder with her oddly mannish hand and he suddenly sits up ... when he's looking down at her, her nips are poking up above the grass. Woo.
