It is not the holidays without an annual viewing in my house.
The best version imo, while I d9nt particularly care for musicals, the show tunes have grown on me over the years.
Wish they would run it in a commercial free station.
I watches it tonight for the first time. I thought it was a solid adaptation, but it goes on a bit too long and there is some perplexing weirdness like the scene where Scrooge goes to hell. I also am a little iffy on Finney's take on the Scrooge character.
Overall I thought it was good but would out it behind the '51, '84 and '99 adaptations.
