OMG, I saw that years ago. LOL!
Carol Burnett always did the best job on those movie parodies.
The other one that Carol did that totally cracks me up, is her parody of GONE WITH THE WIND....You should go see it on You-tube---it's not very long.

I DID see it - when it was first run! Gotta love that line, "I saw it in the window and couldn't resist it." Maybe I'll watch Went with the Wind again. There's an interesting Wiki article about it, too.

Carol Burnett has ruined so many movies for me.

Whenever I see one of the movies she has parodied, I start laughing (thinking of her) and can no longer take the movie seriously.

She also did "Mildred Pierce" (I can't remember the parody title though.)

Carol Burnett's Gone with the Wind parody is still hilarious but the one who really drives that is Vicky Lawrence as Prissy. Good God is she hilarious. And absolutely impossible to crack. Her commitment is 100% and I think the other actors struggle to hold it together just looking at her.
