Why is Little Big Man never on television? I can't even find it on HBO, etc.
Maybe because it is a long movie, Westerns are no longer fashionable, and it can be hard to watch the massacre scenes. Too bad, it is my favorite movie, which I first saw at age 12, 37 years ago. Just watched it again. It is still great. Hilarious, depressing, poignant, it says much about mankind, not just the conflict between whites and Indians. Morality, religion, self reliance, loyalty, bravery, over weening pride,greed, family, and drunken depravity are all in this movie, along with a bit of human kindness. It's a movie for cynics.
