Who is singing the song in the (almost) beginning of the movie??? It is making me crazy, I recognize this voice and can't find the name anywhere...

It's called "Strangers" by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, sung by Roy Clark.
"I told them white would make me look fat".
I was surprised to see Roy Clark's name in the credits, because it sounded just like Johnny Mathis to me.
