SPOILER ALERT! Read it and see it

It doesn't seem like anyone here has read the book. It was required reading in my Social Psychology course, not long after the movie came out. (In fact it was the finale.) I finally got around to watching this. The book is necessary to the movie, but not vice-versa.
I remembered everything except that Rennie died, which was indeed the End of the Road. I still have it, I'll have to look it up. I even have a copy of my paper on it, and the postcard sent to me with my grade (A-).
BTW,if you go to college, try to figure out the professor as soon as possible; that's the key to a good grade.
The movie could have done without adding all the extraneous 60's stuff, but as it turns out, it pretty much did. So watch it, but unless you read it first, you probably won't like it.
