Does anyone know the location of the asylum scene, where Clerici meets his father? The huge hall with the marble benches. I'm sure I've seen this location before in a film.

Bertolucci uses the outdoor assembly atop Libera's Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome as the location for the insane asylum.
