When Dracula stands before the mirror holding a candelabra , neither is reflected. It may be argued that since he could be considered a shape-shifter the candelabra could have been an extension of his body. However before leaving the room he sets the candelabra down on a table.
shareMy problem with that scene is that it occurs too soon in the story. Why enter Harker's room knowing that large mirror is right inside? Why would Dracula reveal himself so soon to Harker. I would have thought that's something he would discover another scene later maybe.
shareAt the angle that the mirror scene, we wouldn't be able to see the reflection of Dracula and the candelabra anyway. It is only evident to us, the reaction of Jonathan noting there was no reflection presumably.
