Question about a quote relating to a character in the book

I know this isn't a discussion about the book, but I'm guessing people who've read the book might come here too.
I'm killing myself over a quote from the book I just can't remember, nor can I remember in what part of the book it's found. Maybe people here can help me?

It's a quote regarding a character that is very booksmart yet doesn't know anything.
Not much to go from, I know. But you never know.

The quote is "He knew everything about literature except how to enjoy it." I cannot remember which character it is referring to though, think it is Clevinger.
I have read the book multiple times.

That's not the quote I mean, but it's quite revelant and it might be in the same chapter of the book. I'm gonna re-read the chapter about clevinger and maybe I'll find the quote I mean too. Thanks.

edit:
The quote I meant was "Clevinger was one of those people with lots of intelligence and no brains, and everyone knew it except those who soon found it out."
It's on page 91 in my edition of the book.
