So many airplanes have landed at the phoney Catch 22 runway on the Mexican coast of Baja, that the Mexican aviation authorities have had to put a disclaimer in their own Airport Facility Directory reminding pilots that this is NOT an airport and it is unsafe to land there.

It's quite clear what you're saying (its not an "official" runway), but the runway was used repeatedly by the B-25's and numerous other aircraft during the filming of "Catch-22," and apparently many times since, so...it really isn't "phoney," is it?
I guess the (what looks like asphalt) runway has deteriorated considerably since 1969-70.
