what an amazing collection of performances, I was particularly impressed with Bob Balaban and Buck Henry and thrilled to see Autin Pnedleton whom I love. I can't think of a better ensemble of male actors all in one movie.

Upon a recent re viewing I was thinking the very same thing

the coins in the jar are for charity,
the coins in the tray are for sharing

An incredibly deep cast with plenty of well-drawn, interesting characters inhabiting the wacky Mediterranean air base.🐭

INHO the best Male ensemble is in. "The Right Stuff".

Not that these guys aren't good.

It was prettty clear they wanted a Jewish cast. Funny they worked Orson Wells in and there were rumors he was trouble on the set or at least he projected an image of difficulty. But only the insiders know the story there. Bob Newhart and Anth Perkins had good roles as well (as gentiles).

You gotta problem with a Jewish cast? If so you gotta problem with me. NOBODY OBJECTS TO ALAN ARKIN BEING IN A MOVIE WHILE I'M AROUND!
