in restaurant and he buys her spahgheti and lets her come stay at the aprtment in Felixs room. Felix comes home and climbs ino his bed not knowing Lisa is sleeping in it.

I have looked on the ODD COUPLE cats listing and couldnt find "Lisa". That girl looks so familiar. Im trying to figure out of she was on any other shows I watched. Anyone know who she is?

As someone else pointed out, she also steals Felix's bernaise sauce recipe in an episode from the 1st season, thus earning her the name "Bernaise Barbara".

ohmyGod, THATS "Bernaise Barbara"????? THAT must be what was throwing me for a loop. A friend gave me all the DVD sets but Season 4 and even thoughI watch them all I will sometimes watch my favorites more than once. The "Bernaise Barbara" one is a favorite. Unfourtanetly though that disc skips so I never get to see the actual "Cokking Contest" part!

I knew that girl looked familiar. Hahaha.

Yep, they seem to have reused a lot of the "regulars" during differen bit parts. I never would have made the connection until rewatching several episodes via Youtube. I'm pretty sure the "old Oscar" in A Taste of Money was also the groundskeeper in A Grave For Felix and he was one of the people that was either on the elderly cruise or one of the group that Oscar used to shame Felix on acting old. Pushover Page was also the maid that Oscar tried to hire during The Breakup and she was also his temporary typist.

And the young Eskimo QB? That was none other than Poppy from Seinfeld!

The "Poppy" who pee'd??

The very same! The guy that almost married Blanch was also the guy that Felix "arrested" during is patrol (breaking his tv).

Its funny rewatching them now. I mean obviously back when the shows were made people didnt realize we'd be watching them in reruns this many years later and they surely never knew that VCRs and DVD players would come out and afford us the oppurtunity to watch epsides whenever we want. So they would just cast the same people over and over again to play bit parts in the episodes! Richard Stahl used to play the chef on ITS A LIVING in the 80s -pops up on ODD COUPLE A LOT!

I notice it with BRADY BUNCH too. A lot of people pop up as different charactors over the course of the shows run.

Stahl was the champ for Odd Couple returns. I never would have made the connection about Penny Marshall being Gary's daughter during my first run with the series (I was about 12ish), but I did wonder why Merna kept showing up.

Oh!

Two more repeat actors:

The military guy from The Odd Monks was also the parachute leader when
Felix was afraid to fly.

Pushover Page was also an early buyer in the furniture episode.

Then there's Ogden Talbot. He was the guy who sang the Christmas telegram to Oscar: "Season's greetings, Oscar boy, your alimony's due...if you don't pay up right away, I'll get the cops on you..." from "Scrooge Gets an Oscar", sat in the back row watching the nude play Bathtub, and in "Natural Childbirth" as "Mr. Crew Cut": "The BRONX? That's too natural for me!"

I'm also pretty sure that the guy who ran Security Arms was also in the 12 Angry Men parody. Unless he was the guy who was in the acutal movie, but they used Jack Klugman after all, so my memory may be a little fuzzy.

Penny Marshall was Garry Marshall's sister, not daughter

I remember the waitress was played by the luscious and well-endowed Joy Harmon in one of her last acting roles.

Was that the "Don't Believe in Roomers" episode?

That's funny - I was talking about this episode a couple of days ago with my wife. Doesn't Oscar buy her some strange combination, mashed potatoes and spaghetti or something? My wife's a New Yorker so I asked if her if that was a thing, and she said no - however, I get a craving for spaghetti and mashed potatoes whenever I think of this episode!
