Located a copy f the original LP Randall/Klugman made as the Odd Couple!

Fans them that we are, my husband was able to locate this on the internet {my internet skills are non-existent} and got it for me for Valentines Day. He's a hopeless romantic!

They sing in character and not what they did on air, there is a killer rendition of "Friendship", but The Odd Couple Opera isn't worth the 8 minutes it gets. When Banana Skins Are Falling is pretty catchy.

Most people looked at me like yeah ok that's a GREAT gift {eye roll}, but it was a hit with me and I'm listening it as I type!

I would die happy it were certified autographed, but it still was a great gift.

You are so lucky, I would love to hear that. I never knew they made an album. For a second I thought maybe it's a comedy album, that they toured as Felix and Oscar during the hiatus. Before you mentioned they didn't sing anything they did on the series, I thought about the hype sticker "FEATURING THE HIT SINGLES 'HAPPY AND PEPPY (and bursting with love)" and 'TUMBLEWEEDS' ". Can't wait to get the last two seasons on DVD (come on, pay day) just so I can see the square dancing episode.

"When Banana Skins are Falling..." is that sung to the tune of "When Irish Eyes are Smiling"?

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked.

No, it's more of a vaudeville number.

Sounds like something that would be played on Dr. Demento.
