Conuity errors on life pre-divorce

Did they meet in jury duty as recalled by a flashback.

Now I'm watching a flashback to Oscar marrying Balanche and Oscar and Felix were already friends in the Army. WAY too old to be in the Army ((and)) have this before the series started.

Quasi-related/unrelated:

Also, Oscar lives in the apartment BEFORE marrying her (yes, it's messy). I find it hard to believe she would marry him and move in, then leave him. I just assumed he got kicked out and moved into it.

Are there continuity errors in other episodes of life before the series started?

I noticed that when I was a kid. I never let it get into the way of a funny episode. It's true those flashback episodes were like time travel episode in the Twilight Zone and you had to throw logic out the window and just enjoy the ride.

Indeed, the show is riddled with continuity errors and contradictory information, but I never let it spoil the fun. It was pretty bad in that way though! 
