Wow the network really hung the announcers out to dry 2-Jan-2023 postponed game
Wow I felt sorry for the several crews of announcers (field, studio, and then Washington DC) that had to talk about nothing for two hours following Damar Hamlin's injury.
There was really not much to say, but these poor talking heads were put in front of a live camera and expected to fill the airwaves with repetitive talk about how "football doesn't matter anymore".
CNN, FOX News and MSNBC actually did a much better job covering the story because they had the actual fall down footage, and they also brought in doctors to discuss the details of Cardiac Arrest.
