Should MNF do flex scheduling?

Now that Sunday Night is the big night to watch football on NBC, I would like to see MNF do flex scheduling late in the season in a few years so that way their ratings can improve on cable. Who wants to see a contending playoff team go against a medicore team in November/December? I DON'T!

That way, this will improve ratings on MNF instead sticking to those mismatched games late in the season. My answer is yes, MNF should do flex scheduling!

One more thing, MNF should come back to ABC where it belongs! ESPN could do Thursday Night games instead so people can actually watch them (hardly anybody I know have the NFL Network).

It's one thing to change the clock time of a game and another to change the date of a game. NFL schedules are made months in advance, and tickets sold, month in advance of the season. Sunday games can be flexed because if a prime time Sunday game isn't attractive, there's a whole slate of 1 pm and 4 pm games to pick from, but what would replace a Monday game?

I see what you're saying, SNB, but I also agree with ijoper's answer. But SNF isn't flexed either, which is sad, because there's no good reason why they couldn't schedule the 8pm game a couple of weeks in advance. Like who really gives a flip this year that Indy and NE play Dec. 4? Indy totally sucks this year. They should be allowed to schedule a meaningful game after the 11/20 game; this gives both teams 2 weeks to prepare for the game and 2 weeks for the city to prepare.

But then, who watches MNF anyway? It sucks worse than Indy. And I think that those with DTV are the only ones who watch Thursday Night Football.

Why not schedule a couple of games for Monday Night?

One of them gets ESPN and one gets ESPN2. And they could continually give us updates from anything cool from the other game.

This would allow for better MAIN Monday Night games. And if you think this would bother players, consider: They do two Monday games the 1st week! And the Thursday games have got to be a much bigger pain in the butt for coaching staff.

just kidding
