Which episode was the one where McCloud was chasing the bad guys and they are on top of a skyscraper and they take off in a helicopter but McCloud grabs onto one of the landing pads? I remember that being one of the most dangerous stunts I have ever seen on a television show, where they seemingly flew all over the city of New York with a guy hanging onto one of the pads.
shareThe episode was called "park avenue rustlers, and was centerted on a car--theft ring. Mccloud goes undercover, with help from Brends vaccaro, to infiltrate and bust the ring. The final scenes are him hanging on the helicopter, as it flies across manhattan, in an attempt for the big guys in the ring to get away (Lloyd bochner, Eddie albert). Mccloud is successful in nabbing them when the chopper lands.
shareI remember thinking they may have paid tribute to that stunt with the climax of "A VIEW TO A KILL" where Roger Moore is shown hanging on a rope underneath a blimp (until he managaes to snare the rope on the Golden Gate Bridge).
