The scene in the staircase when Doug just broke up with Rhoda and she's crying. Doug says something about her crying and Rhoda goes "I'm not crying because of this-- I'm crying because of The Waltons ....(weird glitch).... well, something died". (Nick at Nite version)
On the unedited DVD she says "John Boy died" and Doug goes "John Boy didn't die". I wonder if the John Boy remark was not appreciated by CBS itself as the Waltons was a hit show at the time. Maybe a Walton's producer or creator objected?
