It's from the 4th season episode "Better Late...That's A Pun...Than Never."

Mary is suspended (without pay) after writing a flippant obituary that is accidentally broadcast by Ted. Upset at her treatment, Mary gives Mr. Grant an ultimatum to either rescind her suspension or to fire her. Mr. Grant won't budge and Mary puts up a brave front as she prepares to leave. Ultimately, Mary breaks down, crying first to Murray and then to Lou, "I want to come back!"

It's the best show EVER. And, I always marvel at how much the star, MTM, was SUCH a team olayer. She often, certainly not always, but, more frequently than not, played the straight man to all her work Der fully hysterical co-stars, who usually had the best lines. I just think it's a testament to her confidence, her intelligence (both comedically and emotionally), and I guess her business sense. She knew she plucked GEMS for comedic actors, and very wisely let them all shine brilliantly.

No other show has ever touched such BRILLIANT, SUPERB ensemble acting, writing, comedy, wit AND clear warmth.

Except The Dick Van Dyke Show ties it. Love him and Carl Reiner as well.
