Does anyone know whether "Satyricon" will ever receive the Criterion treatment? I find it hard to believe that a film that can lend itself to a great many featurettes is still only available in its current DVD form. I'm hoping to see at least one commentary track by a classicist.

Not that I don't consider these two films interesting examples of genre cinema deserving of serious critical review, but if Fiend without a Face and Equinox can receive the full Criterion treatment, why not Fellini's even more fantastic film?
