Okay, I've been through everything done by David Lynch, David Cronenberg, and Luis Bunuel. They all do some of the most bizarre films I've ever seen, but this is a completely different type of bizarre. I loved the dream-like, surreal atmosphere Fellini can add to something as commonly portrayed as the Roman Empire.

Yesss! I love Lynch, Cronenberg and surreal movies in general. Just ordered this from Amazon along with Roma, and I got 8 1/2 yesterday. Also have Persona by Bergman coming to me. . .I can't wait!

It was one of the most bizarre films I have watched. However I hated the surreal atmosphere unlike you but it is not a reason to hate the whole movie. I cant find many movies that makes me disgusted like this one. I think this is a significant accomplishment.

I have to say, I'm a film buff and I think this movie is the WEIRDEST movie I've ever seen, and Jesus, I SEEN LOADS of weird movies.
Eraserhead, 120 days of Solom, Cannible Holocaust, but this ranks surpreme just because at the end of the day it makes NO SENSE. Eraserhead kind of had that attitude as well, but you basically knew the plotline. I don't even KNOW that the point of this movie is, I'm still wondering WHAT....
It's odd that I was so disgusted with this movie. Something about a pale, blond boy with breast and a dick is really....I don't know...it creeps me out...XD
