Love This Movie So Much
I only saw this film for the first time a few years ago--maybe 6 or 7.
It blew my mind. Talk about manipulating atmosphere... Masterful work.
I'm sure the lovers of all things Roman will say this film is way off the mark with it's sets but: Rome before Christ was still raw...Pagan...Decadent. Right? I got all of that from this film. And then some.
I'm about to watch the Blu Ray--just scored one. I'm actually a little nervous. Crazy.
