I thought this movie was mad awesome and funny

Does anyone else thinks that too? I just love to see Original Movies and The ReMakes. That movie and Freaky Friday(The First One) was awesome. That blonde girl in Freaky Friday reminds me of my Aunt Trisha. lol really does remind me of her. The way that she talks inall. I need to see the first Cheaper By The Dozen. Any good old movies!

It's so great! I just bought the dvd and watched it last nite.
It's longer than I remembered, and soooo funny all the way thru!
The extra commentaries on the dvd are brilliant too - esp the way the actors loved Herbie just as much as we did!! [smile1]

That part in the Love Bug when Michele Lee's character felt inprisoned by Herbie and those two hippies in that van talked to her was some of the funniest sh*t I had seen in a movie for a while. If you did that now, you're just a dumb idiot, but back then those folks were for real. Can't believe the first Herbie was filmed during the Hippy period. So it really did exist?

I think it is really Herbie who is 'locked in' ... he's trapped inside his metal body with a big heart that no-one can see, coz they just think he's a car... but we can and that is why we love him! Awww!

I found it very enjoyable and quite funny. I didn't think I'd get into it as much as I did. The hippy / drive-in scene is indeed very funny!

Yeah! It's one of my favorite Walt Diseny movies! I love the part where Thorndyke tells the bear (who he thinks is Havershaw) to give him something to wipe his goggles, and the bear reaches his paw over! David Tomlinson a classic actor in many Disney Classics. Mary Poppins, The Love Bug, Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It was all my all time favorite scene from the movie! I loved old Walt Disney movies!
