RIP Gerry Anderson
Heard that the UK Master of filmed SF passed away on December 27th. That now makes a triology of SF TV masters that have passed to the heavens. The other two being Gene Roddenberry and Irwin Allen.
shareI don't think many people in the States actually know who he was or his other output, namely U.F.O. (many of the actors in this film went on be regulars in U.F.O.), Thunderbirds, Joe 90, etc. If they saw any of those then they'd know that this film has all the hallmarks of those shows, especially in the minature work.
