Sorry, you blew it! You spelled "if" right! (Or wrong, depending which Earth you're on.) And the "W" should be capitalized at the end/beginning.
Of course, you can't help the letters themselves being "backward".
LOL
shareI had to come back and "correct" this thread title!
shareHa Ha this thread is awesome decent movie too flawed but still decent especially the thunderbird effects.
shareI LOVE Gerry Anderson and all the model work he does.
The models are fantastic and I don't know any other movies of the period that have equally good model work in movies.

If the premise were real, then we would have discovered that there was another planet on the other side of the sun and probably would have sent an unmanned probe there to check it out, and they would have done the same and sent an unmanned probe to our planet.
Trying to figure out how such a parallel planet could exist and duplicate our earth so much could provide interesting scientific results or possibly sheer frustration at not being able to find any reasonable explanation.
It would also mean that the human population was double what we think it is.
The really interesting question would be how the people of the two planets would interact with each other.
Hmm, assuming the premise were real, it would be interesting if humans from Earth A could mate with humans from Earth B. Since the arrangement of the internal organs are reversed, this would indicate a difference at the genetic level between humans from the two planets. Such a difference could prevent an egg being fertilized or any resulting embryo from developing properly. Perhaps DNA and other proteins are folded in the opposite direction. Fun stuff to think about.
shareI'm guessin' the mating process would be much more fun than raising a backwards organed baby. I'm just sayin............

Applied Science? All science is applied. Eventually.
Ha ha! This is so funny! Just responding to it now because I looked up the movie on the occasion of Herbert Lom's [Dr. Hassler] death today, 9-27-12, at the age of 95. He was in so many great movies -- and this is a memorable one.
