dialouge question
what does dolly mean when she says, "if your gonna live from hand to mouth you better be ambidextrous." I have seen this amazing movie a million times and stil can't figure out what it means. Please help.
shareI have always taken it as Dolly's way of saying that if you are only have enough money for basic needs, you better be versatile at making more. Hence her reason for having "more businesses than a dog's got fleas". Ampidexterous people can use both of their hands interchageably, so it might also be cute play on words too. ^_^; I hope my rambling made some sense.
