Did Marianne McAndrew actually sing her own songs?
For a relative newcomer, Ms. McAndrew certainly has an ear for music - is it true that her singing ability came out of the blue, without any formal training or even a "dub" double?

shareNo she was dubbed!
sharePity! But contrary to popular rumour, she sounded nothing like Ann-Margaret, the singer/dubber sounded a little younger...
shareI don't know, but I could swear that I saw Ms. McAndrew on PBS a few years ago in a delightful production of "HMS Pinafore." She could certainly hold her own singing in that one.
