CHARACTER HELP! please help me.

I was asked to be in Hello Dolly! and I've never seen it. It's one of the only old movies I haven't seen...go figure. Anyway, I was told by the director to look for two characters:

1. One is supposed to have a voice like Audrey in Little Shop...that's what she said. Like, high voice that talks fast and such.

2. She said the other whines a lot and that's really all she said about the second character.

She said they both have dancing in the show. But they don't have it at the local video stores so I had to buy it online and have it shipped to me but it's not here yet, obviously. So, if anyone at all could help me figure out who the two characters are, I will be so grateful and will appreciate it so much. Thanks in advance! :]

My guesses:

Character #1 is Minnie Fay, Irene Malloy's assistant at the hat shop.

Character #2 is Ermengarde Vandergelder, Horace's niece.

In the film, Minnie has a much more difficult dance routine ("Dancing"), mostly with Barnaby. Her other one is "Elegance", which is less complex.

Ermengarde's dance numbers are "Put on Your Sunday Clothes" and on the dance floor at the Harmonia Gardens restaurant with Ambrose.
