Dolly never had children.......in the stage version, becuase if they changed the script for Barbra then I could understand that she was a young widow, but howcome an older Dolly didn't? Were either her or Ephrain sterile do you summise?

lots of people did not or dont have children richard. Maybe Dolly was a responsible woman who did not believe in contributing to an over populated planet.
