What are other 'conservative values' movies???

I'm interested to know as I enjoyed this film.

What I mean is the tone of the film was ultra conservative. The small town of Yonkers, there being a musical number about putting on Sunday clothes, the protagonist who has never kissed a girl, and set in a 'simpler' time.

What are some other films that have these values?

Pollyanna
Leave it to Beaver (tv show)
Courageous
Fireproof
Facing the Giants

Any others?

You could point to just about any family sitcom from the '50s and early '60s: The Donna Reed Show, Father Knows Best, Make Room for Daddy, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, My Three Sons, etc. All took place in some fictional small town or suburb. You can track how society changed over the decades by how sitcoms changed. For example, My Three Sons and Family Affair had a widower, The Brady Bunch had divorced parents creating a new family, All in the Family turned the nuclear family on its head, any number of Norman Lear sitcoms had minority families, etc.

As for movies, a lot of the big budget MGM musicals had the same tone: Meet Me in St. Louis, The Harvey Girls, etc. Judy Garland was great in these types of movies even though her personal life was full of tragedy.
