New DVD in the works?

Ok... I've read through all of the questions on all of the pages and I haven't seen this one asked, so I won't feel guilty or be called lazy... Does ANYONE know of a new DVD that might be in the works for this movie? The current DVD, released several years ago, was given a bargain basement treatment - the sound design is terrible, and even my laserdisc from the 90s looks better. Is there a digital restoration coming? Will there be 7.1 DTS? This is a 70mm classic that really deserves such treatment. Oh, and incidentally, folks at Fox Home Entertainment... Todd-AO is the name of the 65mm photographic process in which the movie was shot.... Todd AO was NOT the name of the producer of the film. Get it together people. Jeez....

I agree. And a commentary from any surviving cast members would be nice, and how about a "making of"?

This is just wishful thinking but after the remastered 50th anniversary of West Side Story, others including this one will follow. The people at TCM would know more about this than just about anyone, I should think.
