when did you first see this? Where were you? What did you think?

How many of you first saw this on the CBS Movie premiere in 1974 ?

That's when I first saw it. Liked it a lot. Bought the soundtrack LP. Then forgot about the movie for years.....
Now it's a staple in my DVD library. It's my "sick in bed" movie I watch to make me feel better! Or my lonely Sunday afternoon on the couch movie to keep me company.
When I mention this to my friends (the ones who love that DULL "Singing in the Rain" and other "classic" movie musicals -- THEY HATE HELLO DOLLY! ) What is the deal with that ??????



I wish the DVD had......... more EXTRAS and INTERVIEWS!
