Its too bad that the best Universal can do is put out a lame copy of this film. You will never convince me that this was a "Low Budget" film, because you can see with the sets and the detail that this was a quality film.
In a day when films got money thrown into them in a majority, unlike today where you have spoiled ass actors get huge paychecks. I would take colossus over any crap hollywood is putting out today
Today you have a $200 million dollar movie that might make $300 million at the box office, and they call that successful
Macon County Line in 1974, cost $750,000 to make and made over 50 million at the box office. That is successful
They need to send the high paycheck hollywood stars packing and go back to days when it took a career to make these abusive salaries they receive today
