I Forgot How It Ended
It's been forty years since I saw this movie and I've completely forgotten the ending. Can someone help me?

The two Computers merge into one, and has the entire human population under threat of nuclear holocaust. The humans are now slaves to the Computer to do as it wants, which is to control and use humanity to gather more knowledge about the Universe. The Computers command humanity to build more computers. The movie ends with the computer winning completely. I love it.

Yes, the last line is "Never" meaning that the computer has not won, or may not.
The Greek stoics used to say that you can always have your integrity and never have to violate it because you can simply die with it intact. So, when he says "Never" I believe he's willing to die to avoid being controlled, as will many others.
Personally, I liked what the computer had to say and would happily help it out.
The 2 computers pull the human race back from the "brink of disaster" and are about to "extend human knowledge" as was the specification. (see 10 minutes in).
I get so tired of writing code and then being told it's not what we asked for :)
