One of the greatest sci-fi movies.

It's a crime that it doesn't have the recognition that it deserves. You must see it if you haven't. It's so far ahead of many MANY sci-fi films that we have now.

Yes, it's the "2001" of artificial intelligence sci-fi. Witty, lean, sardonic, funny, terrifying, perfectly produced and acted, with an effective musical score.

Yes, Joe Sargeant did a terrific job with it, and the music is pretty superb, too. A shame it didn't propel Eric Braden to more lead roles in the movies. There were a lot of sci-fi movies in the 70's, and "C:TFP" is one of the best.

I agree how great this movie was with no budget and is completely forgotten and never on tv.
A true masterpiece of science fiction to spur on a generation.
