Russell Crowe had worked with Ron Howard before & George Clooney to me would make a good Forbin along with Crowe. Thoughts on anyone else besides Will Smith?

As long as Adam Sandler, Mikey Myers, Tommy Cruise, Bennie Affleck, Matty Damon and Eddie Murphy (as well as Willie Smith) stay clear of a remake, I’m game. :-)
As for who I think would fit the Forbin role…Braeden was, believe it or not, 28 years-old when this was filmed, so a comparable aged actor…I’ve gotta think on this a bit.
