Beloved Reg Varney (Stan Butler) Passed away today in a nursing home in Devon after a short illness. He was 92 and will be sadly missed.

Neils Mum: Neil, did you make your bed?
Neil: No, I bought it.

Very sad news. Its impossible to imagine anyone else in the role of 'Stan Butler'.
