Reamke with Jonathan Ross, Ricky Gervais, and Mckensie Crook

On the show friday night with jonothan ross there was once (a joke i think) mentioned about an on the buses remake starring Ricky Gervais as Stan Butler, Jonothan Ross as Jack Harper. I think McKensie Crook should play Blaikey. After seeing McKensie Crook as a postman in that newish paul mccartney music video i think he could pull it off. After all the actor who played blakey was younger than the actor who played stan butler in real life. I think these people would be perfect in these roles. It would be good to at least see a one off show or a sketch or something.

Come on people lets make it happen (just like snakes on a plane).

The Jack Harper role would have to be retrained as there are no longer conductors on the buses.

Ricky Gervais IS NOT FUNNY!!!!!

No just leave it no remakes

People here are missing the point. You can't just stick a few comedians in a movie and expect it to be funny. They need to have acting experience, and comic timing. Like Doris Hare, and Reg Varney, who learned their craft in theatre. Not stand up comedy clubs. Loook at the awful Carry on Columbus for proof.

They couldn't make it now because it's too politically incorrect.

Russell Brand as Jack, Kathy Burke as Olive and Johnny Rotten as Reg. Not sure who is Blakey. Maybe Michael Barrymore.

Stephen Merchant as Blakey, obviously.
