'Till Death Us Do Part movie

Cor blimey I'm sitting here watching the 'TDUDP for the first time and it's a right old On The Buses fest - and I don't just mean secondary and background characters. So far we've seen Bob Grant as a fella in the pub, Michael Robbins is the actual landlord of the boozer - complete with a FULL head of hair. Kate Williams is lounging around as a bit of a dolly bird and bow Patty Coombs has popped up.

I know it's not unusual to see the same old character actors in old British comedies but I think this is the first time I've ever seen Arthur in anything other than OTB, and to see a youthful looking Jack standing next to him was quite a surprise.

Michael Robbins was in plenty of TV series and films but just not in as big parts as he had in On The Buses. Ironically, his final TV appearance before dying of cancer came in the hit sitcom One Foot In The Grave.

I remember going to see that as a KID at the cinema! I thought I was going to die laughing when Alf kicked a ball through a window whilst making his way home, drunk and late at night, from the World Cup Final ("Well, they played extra time, didn't they?")

Awight we're The Daamned we're a punk baand and this is called Carn't Be Appy T'day!
