Robert Reed was gay in real life but was Mike Brady secretly gay? We never see him and Carol get intimate, so maybe they married each other because they wanted to raise their kids in a two-parent household. It would have been funny if it was revealed that Mike was secretly having an affair with Sam the Butcher.

Back when the story first came out, I believed Henderson and Williams when they both said nothing happened between them on their little date, but with the veritable avalanche of teachers bedding students that have become known since Mary Kay, I now wonder if something didn't happen between Williams and Henderson that was more than just dinner.
For some reason I believe their stories, that nothing happened. He had a simple crush, and she was just being polite by going out.
I didn't know of any hanky-panky going on in my high school, but our (male) gymnastics coach did end up marrying the hottest (female) gymnast on the team... SO THERE'S THAT.
My history teacher had married one of his former students years before he was my teacher, but I don't know if there was anything going on while she was his student. He was at least 15 years older than her.
But, in my senior year, there was our class advisor who was a young very pretty teacher who was always hanging around with one of my classmates. Back then, we thought nothing of it and indeed there may not have been anything going on, but by today's metric, their friendship would be considered inappropriate. In our yearbook there are several pictures of them together. Innocent? Perhaps. Maybe even probably.
With regard to Williams and Henderson, I would be say 50% on their relationship being anything more than a friendship. When the book came out, I was pretty much all the way to the side that nothing happened, but from what we hear about today, it wouldn't surprise me if something did.
