Random stupid question of the day - could the Quints have really taken Will Penny if they didn't outnumber him?
shareRafe and Rufus, utilizing the element of surprise as Will slept, couldn't finish the job. Will grabbed a rifle and had it pointed at him when Preacher Quint jumped him from behind. I think that says it all. Even Catherine beat both of the brothers by way of wit at the end and got Will the time he needed.

Too true. I doubt a skinny, no talent bitch like Bruce Dern could have taken Heston in a real fight anyhow. Or a chubby little bugger like Donald Pleasance for that matter.
