Boy, I could not agree more. In fact, having just seen the film for the first time, that's how I viewed the entire fashion statement for 1968.
Despite its predictable nature, everyone looked great throughout ... even Paul Burke, whom I'll always associate with "Twelve O'Clock High".
I loved that Rolls though (what a car), but that's how beautiful things were in those days.
