Original Trailer
Does anyone know the name of the song that's featured in this movie's original trailer?
Much appreciated.

I can't remember the original trailer, but the song that begins the movie (sung by Noel Harrison - Rex's boy..) and sung again during the movie, and played in different versions in the movie is "The Windmills of Your Mind". Little bits of it are in the remake, as well. Michel Legrand is one of my favorite film composers.
shareKatie: I appreciate the post, however, I don't think the song in the trailer is "The Windmills of Your Mind." While that song is in the opening of the movie, and is sung again during the plane sequence, it isn't the song that is in the trailer.
here is a link to the trailer:

I previewed the soundtrack on a website, and it seems the closest song is called "Cash and Carry."
Can anyone verify or discredit this?
Thanks!
I've been searching for this track for a couple years now and it eludes me. None of the songs availabe on the soundtrack are the one that is in the trailer. Does anyone know what this song is??

that rendition of that song was horrible. anyone that was singing like that in 1968 was not listening to music. It's OK to do something your own way, but he needed to keep that to himself.
